MUMBAI: Repair work on the Akurli bridge on the Western Express Highway at Kandivli East has hit vehicular movement of traffic.
The Mumbai Traffic Police tweeted on Wednesday that only two lanes of the bridge are functional and therefore, vehicular movement is slow on the bridge on the northbound arm of WEH.
Vehicular backlog stretched up to the bridge near Times of India Press at Malad East. The repair work is likely to continue for the next seven months, police said .
