Have some states achieved 24 hours power supply in the rural areas! Based on the information provided by the states / discoms, the power minister Piyush Goyal made a statement in the Rajya Sabha on May 9, 2016 which mentions that there are 9 states, which provided 24 hours supply in the rural areas in the month of February 2016. This included Telangana also.
