MANGALURU: Six passengers, who had booked tickets on IndiGo flight 6E 6162 from Bengaluru to Mangaluru, were stranded despite being at Kempegowda International Airport as the flight took off 12 minutes earlier than the scheduled departure time on Friday.
According to one of the passengers, who is a government official, the flight was scheduled to depart at 2.55pm, but took off at 2.43 pm (as per info available on the airline’s website). After a protest by the passengers who missed the flight, the carrier accommodated them on the next flight (6E-578) at 8.20pm, which was delayed by half an hour.
