The company has confirmed that the scooter’s battery remains intact and functional. Fortunately, the customer involved in the incident is safe and unharmed.
The incident came to public attention when a user shared a video on X, showing a fire involving an Ola S1 scooter near the parking lot of D.Y Patil College in Pimpri Chinchwad. While the fire brigade was on the scene to control the fire, the video displayed heavy smoke emanating from the scooter.
