The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal asked the Jalan Kalrock Consortium in the Jet Airways matter to file an affidavit within 24 hours for seeking an extension of timeline of the payment schedule.
The counsel for JKC argued that they were ready to deposit Rs 100 crore by August 31 and another Rs 100 crore by September 30. Meanwhile, the bank could invoke the Rs 150 crore performance guarantee submitted by the company.
