KOLKATA: After the state government and Metro authorities’ one-month ultimatum to vacate Maidan premises to facilitate Metro construction, some clubs have decided to shift their tents and equipment inside shipping containers. Others are looking for rented accommodations.
Some are still continuing a dialogue with the state government and Army authorities, seeking an alternative plot of land at the Maidan greens to function.
