IndiGo has raised the charges for passengers opting for front-row seats with additional legroom, requiring them to pay up to Rs 2,000 for the privilege. According to the airline’s official website, passengers selecting window or aisle seats in the front row of an A321 aircraft with 232 seats will incur a charge of Rs 2,000. The fee is slightly lower at Rs 1,500 for the middle seat in the same row.
Uniform Charges Across Aircraft Types
The increased charges apply uniformly to the front-row seats in different aircraft configurations. This includes A321 planes with 222 seats and A320 aircraft with 186 seats. Additionally, the same tariff is applicable for selecting seats in A320 planes with 180 seats, as specified on the airline‘s website.
