NEW DELHI: Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is giving finishing touches to areas under flyovers for the G20 Summit after placing about 1 lakh potted plants on main roads and in markets.
The civic body claimed to have carried out work under 11 flyovers, such as Africa Avenue, Savitri flyover, Mahipalpur flyover, Tilak Nagar, Raja Garden, Mayapuri, DND (Mayur Vihar), Karkardooma, Keshav Chowk (Shahdara north) and Gokalpuri. Plants that can survive in the shade have been chosen for these sites.
