The family office of Pirojsha Godrej has invested $1.2 million in home-technology start-up ZunRoof in Pre-Series A round.
This is the first investment that Godrej has made in any start-up. Godrej makes most of its early stage funding through venture fund Omnivore Partners.
ZunRoof is a smart energy solutions provider and plans to utilise the funds for expansion and to strengthening of its product portfolio. It specialises in solar rooftop design, installation, and management. The company uses computer vision, AI and VR to streamline the solar rooftop installation and maintenance for home owners.
