Siemens Gamesa secures 250 MW solar order from Sprng Energy
Siemens Gamesa continues to make inroads in the Indian solar market bagging its largest solar order of 250 MW from Sprng Energy at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh.
Sprng Energy, a renewable energy platform wholly owned 100% by Actis, has over 1,650 MW of renewable energy projects across India.
Under the contract, Siemens Gamesa will provide a comprehensive EPC solution that includes the engineering and design of the solar farm, procurement of the balance of plants, supply of 2.25 and 2.5 MW 1500 V Gamesa Electric inverters, and the installation and commissioning of the photovoltaic solar power plant at Anantapur.
