The union ministry of petroleum and natural gas (MoP&NG) has prepared a draft liquefied natural gas (LNG) policy for the promotion of gas and find ways for LNG adoption in sectors which currently does not use it as a fuel. The main objective of the policy is to frame an integrated approach towards procurement, storage, transportation and use of LNG, including its by-products.
