Mumbai: One side of the coastal road from Worli towards Marine Drive may be open for motorists by February 2024 while the entire road would be ready by May 2024, BMC said on Thursday.
Additional municipal commissioner Ashwini Bhide, who is overseeing the project, said that 82% of the project’s work has been completed. “We aim to open the right-hand side (RHS) from Worli to Marine Drive by mid-February.
Simultaneously, construction on the bridge linking the coastal road with Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL) will continue. The complete opening of the road is scheduled for May 2024,” she said.
