The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) has issued a circular specifying therein framework for aircraft operating leases to make GIFT City in Gujarat a hub for such business. This circular was issued in exercise of powers conferred by section 12 of the IFSCA Act to develop and regulate the financial products, financial services and financial institutions in the IFSCs.
