Last year, the Himachal Pradesh government had invited bids for 37 hydro power projects for a total of 1,131.2 MW on BOOT basis. Later, the allotments of two projects (Rashil 130 MW & Tandi 104 MW) were restored and the capacity offered came down to 897.2 MW. Now, the new date of submission of bids is October 31, 2016. The shortlisted bidders are required to quote upfront payment.
