WTO Ruling

The US trade officials and Boeing declared victory after the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on September 22, 2016 ruled that the European Union (EU) had failed to end illegal subsidies for Airbus. WTO found that Airbus had won aircraft sales deals over Boeing in Europe, China, India and other countries helped by subsidies from the EU and member states.
