Mumbai: Four people were killed and three others were injured in a fire that broke out at the cold storage unit of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s Uran plant in Navi Mumbai on Tuesday morning.
Fire-fighting operations are still on. The exact cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
ONGC tweeted that the fire broke out in storm water drainage early morning in the Uran plant, around 50 km from Mumbai. It added that gas is being diverted from Uran to ONGC’s plant in Hazira in Gujarat.
