The BJP led Uttar Pradesh government, that aims to provide affordable electricity to 1.86 crore unconnected houses by October 2018, has cancelled all the five PPAs (5×90 MW) that the earlier state government had signed with the Bajaj group. The company has moved the court challenging the cancellation.
