Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (UERC) organized a public hearing in Dehradun on June 7, 2016 on a petition filed by Greenko for fixing tariff for their 70 MW hydro power plant at Budhil in Himachal Pradesh. A consumer organization questioned the motive behind allowing high provisional tariff of Rs 4 per unit to Greenko in November 2015, when the company themselves were selling power at Rs 2.42 per unit from the same plant.
