German tier 1 supplier ZF Group has setup a new manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, which will manufacture the Ergopower M transmission and axle series.
The new facility is spread across 12,000 sqmt and will cater to the domestic and export market. The new plant in Coimbatore together with the main hub in Germany will support the production capacity needed for the future market growth in the global construction equipment market.
The company says the construction industry in India is witnessing an increasing need for intelligent system solutions, sustainable technologies, and a rapid development cycles to support customer expectations.
