BENGALURU: Air ticket prices from Bengaluru will go up from Tuesday as the Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) got regulatory approval to charge a “higher” user development fee (UDF). The revised fee, increased by about 120%, will be applicable for tickets procured between April 16 and August 15.
“The UDF for domestic departures will be revised to Rs 306 from Rs 139 and for international departures will be Rs 1,226 (up) from Rs 558,” the official statement of BIAL said.
