Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has confirmed that it will be showcasing its electric vehicle (EV) technology for the first time at an upcoming event. Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Lei Jun, made the announcement on social media platform X, stating that the EV technology will be launched at the Stride event. However, he clarified that the event will not include the reveal of any products.
The event is scheduled to take place on December 28 at 2 pm China time (11.30 am IST). Xiaomi’s EV technology is expected to redefine the automotive industry by combining automotive, consumer electronics, and smart ecosystems.
