The work on the 15.75-km-long Una to Bihru section of National Highway (NH) 503A, sanctioned by the previous Narendra Modi-led Central government in Una district, has finally begun. A sum of Rs 51.09 crore will be spent on the project.
The road stretch is among the many national highways of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh whose foundation stones were collectively laid by Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari at Gaggal in Kangra district on February 24. The total cost of the road projects was Rs 4,459.24 crore.
