District administration has given 48-hour time to owners of 38 houses for vacating their places for paving the way for ambitious cable-stayed bridge in Govindpur.
Executive engineer, Road Construction Department Jamshedpur division, N Sahay said that they have already signed a contract with Singla Construction for setting up the cable stayed bridge over Hudco lake in Govindpur.
The executive engineer said owners of all the 38 houses set up unauthorisedly on government land had been ordered by the district administration two months ago for vacating the land. But as the house owners have not paid heed to the administration’s request, it will have to vacate the land forcefully.
