Mumbai: A senior management official from the private firm blacklisted for failing to deliver 700 electric AC double-deckers for the past one year has contacted BEST general manager Vijay Singhal, requesting that the “blacklisting showcause notice” be withdrawn. “The top management official has promised that he will deliver the 700 e-double-deckers in phases and also the prototype of the bus at the earliest,” Singhal said. “I will be personally speaking to him this week and unless there is proper assurance that we will be getting the e-double deckers on time, I will not withdraw the blacklisting notice.”
