BENGALURU: When the 2-km Metro line between KR Pura and Byappanahalli opens later this month-end, one of the city’s most infamous bottlenecks in the Tin Factory area could also see some relief.
The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) was tasked with road widening, construction of bus bays and skywalks projects in the area near KR Pura in 2019. For various reasons, including hurdles in land acquisition and pandemic, BMRCL couldn’t complete the task. The agency is now hopeful of completing the pending works along with the opening of the line.
