Last week Adani Transmission Ltd changed its name to Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. The company, which reported an 8% increase or Rs 182 crore in profit after tax for the quarter ended June 2023, is focusing on B2C engagement with commercial and industrial consumers. Managing Director Anil Sardana tells ET the new name manifests the company’s strengths. Excerpts:
