Launched in August last year, Akasa Air exceeded its targeted fleet strength, exiting March 2023 with 19 aircraft instead of the planned 18 and a market share of 3%. From next year, 12-16 aircraft would be added annually, reaching a total of 72 aircraft by the middle of 2027.
