The Central Bureau of Investigation has received an expert report confirming the handwriting of a witness-turned-accused on certain “incriminating” documents in the Rs 3,600 crore VVIP helicopter scandal case, said people with direct knowledge of the matter.
The handwriting report has been received from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL NSE -0.03 %), New Delhi. The CBI had sent handwriting samples of Deepak Goyal, a stenographer of co-accused advocate Gautam Khaitan, to ascertain the veracity of his handwriting on certain documents.
