NEW DELHI: Vistara, joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, has taken delivery of its first wide-body aircraft Boeing 787-9, which will be used to start long-haul international routes, the airline on Friday said.
Currently, Air India is the only Indian airline to fly to long haul international destinations in Europe, US, East Asia and Australia.
The 787-9 aircraft delivered to Vistara is the first of the six wide body planes received by the airline from Boeing Co.
