After setting a deadline of 1,000 days for electrifying all the un-electrified villages during his August 15, 2015 Independence Day speech, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now told the power ministry to target electrification of around 200 villages every week by holding regular follow ups with the state implementing agencies.
