Former cabinet minister and BJP leader Lakshmi Kanta Chawla met senior officials of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) and raised the issue of unscheduled power cuts in the city. Chawla said before the start of the summer season, many areas of the city have witnessed unscheduled power cuts in the last few weeks.
“I have called the officials concerned several times in the past and raised my concern over the power cuts. Despite tall promises there is no improvement in the situation. Finally, I met the superintending engineer of city circle and told him about the suffering of residents during power cuts”, said Chawla.
