NEW DELHI: A few international flights to and from India also could get marginally longer with some countries barring Russian planes from their airspace and then asking their airlines to avoid parts of Russian airspace.
A Virgin Atlantic (VA) spokesperson said: “On Thursday evening we took the decision to start avoiding Russian airspace and our flight paths will continue to be adjusted for some Virgin Atlantic passenger services between the UK and India. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to customers by slightly longer flight times.”
