The UJVN Limited has generated 5088.88 million units of electricity against the target of 4822 million units in the financial year 2019-20.
In the current financial year 2020-21, the power plants of the corporation have generated 598 million units of electricity in the month of August compared to the target of 573 million units. Earlier from the month of April to August, the corporation had generated 2,648 million units compared to the target of 2,616 million units.
This was stated in the 99th board meeting of the corporation held recently via video conferencing. The chairperson of UJVN Limited, Radhika Jha informed that according to the key performance indicators set in 2018-19, the electricity generation target had been set at 4,700 million units compared to which 4,663 million units (99.21 per cent) were generated.
