JAMMU: Both the pilots critically injured after an Army helicopter crash landed on the hills of Shiv Dhara near Patnitop in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning have succumbed to their injuries.
The Northern Command has paid tributes to both officials and extended deepest condolences to the families of two officials killed in the chopper crash.
Official sources said the two pilots of the Army Aviation helicopter who were critically injured were rescued by locals from Shiv Dhar Hills. “The chopper took off from Nagrota this morning before it met with fatality. Injured were evacuated and shifted on foot to a nearby medical facility where doctors declared them brought dead, said sources.
