Two squadron leaders of the Indian Air Force (IAF) were killed when their fighter aircraft crashed during take-off at the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) airport in Bengaluru on Friday morning. The aircraft, an upgraded twin-seater Mirage 2000, was on a customer acceptance flight at HAL airport, a statement from HAL said. The incident comes days ahead of the Aero India Show in the city.
