Bengaluru: Panic prevailed briefly at Kempegowda International Airport on Sunday as two men taunted airline security personnel by falsely claiming that their handbag contained a gun.
A Central Industrial Security Force team frisked the duo to ascertain if they were carrying any firearms and ammunition before confirming otherwise. However, the duo wasn’t allowed to board their scheduled Sri Lankan Airlines flight to Colombo and their bags were offloaded for their ‘cruel joke’ at an international airport.
