About 1,000 electricity department employees left for Odisha on Tuesday to restore power supply in the areas affected by the recent Fani cyclone in the neighbouring State.
The cyclone wreaked havoc in many areas in the State and several electric poles were uprooted while wires got snapped leading to disruption of power at several areas in Odisha.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao responded immediately to the request of the Odisha government for cooperation in restoring the power supply.
