MUMBAI: A Delhi-based journalist, who did not wish to be identified, said he had a harrowing experience while flying to his hometown Madurai on the first day of resumption of flights on Monday.
He said his troubles started from Sunday night as he struggled with the Air India Express and TNePass portals to check into his flight and obtain an ePass, respectively for travelling home from the airport. “The check-in just wouldn’t happen. I called up the airline call centre and was asked to mail my PNR and other booking details. Thereafter, I got a crudely clicked photograph of my boarding pass as a WhatsApp message from an airline executive,” he said.
