The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has commenced the trial runs of Namo Bharat trains between Duhai to Meerut South, an additional 25 km long section ahead of the Priority Section within a mere 80 days of beginning operations in the Priority Section. This is a significant milestone as it marks a major step towards the operationalization of the entire 42 km of Delhi -Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor in near future ahead of target.
According to a statement issued by the NCRTC, to commence the trial run, the Overhead Equipment (OHE) was charged with a from the Murad Nagar Receiving Sub Station (RSS).
