BENGALURU: Starting this Monday, passengers will be able to travel between Bengaluru and Mysuru by environment friendly electric buses.
This is the first time that KSRTC is operating inter-city e-buses under the ‘EV Power Plus’ segment. KSRTC managing director V Anbukumar said: “On Bengaluru-Mysuru route, we are charging Rs 330 for multi-axle AC buses, it is Rs 240 for non-AC and it will be Rs 300 for e-buses”.
Kumar said these 12-metre AC semi-sleeper buses with a seating capacity of 43 will ensure a comfortable ride to the passengers. “Passengers could book these services through our website from Wednesday and travel in our zero emission and noiseless e-buses with high comfort,” he said.
