Train services in Barajamda – Barbil section of South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur division will remain affected on Thursday in view of a traffic-cum-power block for launching of steel girders of a road overbridge between Barajamda and Barbil station.
The Howrah-Barbil Jan Shatabdi Express leaving Howrah on Thursday will be short terminated at Barajamda while the return trian Barbil-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express will originate from Barajamda. Therefore, the service of the train in both the directions will remain cancelled between Barajamda and Barbil on Thursday, February 3.
Apart from this as many as four local passenger trains will be short terminated at various stations while a couple of trains will run on a diverted route , because of the traffic-cum- power block.
