NEW DELHI: Torrent Power on Monday reported a consolidated net profit of nearly Rs 484 crore in the quarter ended March on the back of higher revenues against a consolidated net loss of Rs 487 crore.
The consolidated net profit in 2022-23 rose to Rs 2,164 crore from Rs 458 crore in the previous fiscal. Total income in the fiscal increased to Rs 26,075 crore against Rs 14,492.65 crore in 2021-22. Income rose to 6,133 crore during the March quarter from Rs 3,840 crore in the year-ago period.
Chairman Samir Mehta said the company successfully integrated five acquisitions of distribution businesses of Daman & Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli, wind power plants of 156 MW and solar power plants of 125 MW.
