For battery swapping service provider Esmito, the coming together of the core team was its definitive moment. Co-founder Hasan Ali brought his experience of logistics, while co-founders Prabhjot Kaur and Akhila V Kumar brought their tech knowledge and access to the IIT Madras incubation cell to the table.
“I had worked with Amazon prior to this venture and have seen from close quarters the impact that “greenification” of logistics can have,” says Ali. For him electric mobility made sense for the logistics sector not merely for green reasons but also for cost competitiveness.
