CHENNAI: Southern Railway has extended the experimental halt for the Tejas Superfast Express at Tambaram station until further advice after residents complained that advance ticket bookings after August have been unavailable since last month.
“We were not able to book the train for travel after August 26, as the station has been deleted from the list of stops. We want a permanent halt in Tambaram as it will extend accessibility to the city’s suburban residents,” said Dayanand Krishnan, a resident.
