New Delhi: Tata Power has reported an over 31% rise in its consolidated net profit to ₹632.37 crore in the March 2022 quarter, mainly on the back of higher revenues. Its consolidated net profit was ₹481.21 crore in the year-ago quarter, according to a statement.
“Consolidated PAT before exceptional items up by 76% YoY (year-on-year) at ₹775 crore in March quarter against ₹440 crore in Q4 FY21 (March quarter),” the company said in the statement. The consolidated revenue surged 16% to ₹12,085 crore in the March quarter, compared to ₹10,379 crore a year ago. In 2021-22, the consolidated net profit rose to ₹2,155.61 crore from ₹1,438.65 crore in the preceding fiscal.
