NEW DELHI: Shares of Tata Power NSE 1.04 % dropped 2 per cent in Monday’s trade after the company said there was “simultaneous substation tripping” at state-run MSETCL’s two facilities, which led to a major power outage in the financial capital Mumbai and surrounding areas.
Power supply had been disrupted in most parts of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane due to electricity grid failure on Monday morning.
