NEW DELHI: The NHAI has taken up the access controlled link from DND Flyway to Sohna (59 km) to provide seamless connectivity to Mumbai, investing Rs 5,063 crore for this project. The stretch has been divided into three packages and all these are scheduled for completion by April 2024.
The first package of 9km from DND Flyway to Jaitpur in south Delhi will be a six-lane elevated corridor along the Yamuna, which will be only for expressway traffic. The second package from Jaitpur to Ballabhgarh (25km) via the existing bypass is being made a six-lane signal-free stretch for expressway traffic. For local traffic, the NHAI is constructing service roads of three lanes each on both sides. The third package is the link set to open this week.
