Leading wind player Suzlon Energy shares hit the 5% upper circuit and a new 52-week high at Rs 34.4 in Friday’s trade on BSE after the firm reported a 79% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its net profit for the quarter ended September to Rs 102 crore on improved operating performance. The same stood at Rs 57 crore in the September quarter of last year.
Revenue from operations during the second quarter declined marginally to Rs 1,417 crore, as against Rs 1,430 crore in the year-ago quarter.
