In view to ensure better inter-district connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir, the Centre has taken a decision to approve continuation of five subsidised chopper routes in the UT for a five-year period from April 1, 2021.
Officials said the Ministry of Home Affairs has sent a communication to the Jammu and Kashmir administration in this regard. The subsidised routes include Kishtwar-Sounder-Navapachi-Ishan-Kishtwar, Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch-Jammu,Jammu-Doda -Kishtwar-Jammu, Bandipora-Kanzalwan-Dawar -Niri-Bandipora and Kupwara-Machil-Tangdhar-Keran-Kupwara, they added. — TNS
