Israel-headquartered extreme fast charge (XFC) capable battery technology company StoreDot says having achieved all its planned milestones for 2023, it is focussed on commercilisation and mass production of its batteries in 2024.
It was last month that the company collaborated with Polestar to bring the world’s first EV fitted with extreme fast charging battery cell technology to production – a game changer for the industry – opening the door for the entire EV ecosystem to embrace XFC technology.
StoreDot also signed agreements with Volvo Cars, VinFast and Flex|N|Gate to jointly develop optimised XFC batteries. In addition, it claims that 15 leading global OEMs tested its cells in real-world conditions over 6-9 months and reported outstanding performance.
